A Month in Review

Here are some of the highlights from May 2023 as told by the Sales team . . .

Tony Mann: Shoutout to Jim Krochune

I’d like to thank Jim Krochune for winning a Hospital System project back in 2021 for a STS at Ottumwa Regional Health Center, as I was able to get their 2023 steam trap survey order. And also a shout out to the tech who did the work in 2021. APM has a good reputation which is reflected in the repeat business we get like this. Thanks to everyone involved also, it takes a team.

Eric Hayston: Yale University

I want recognize David Glastetter and Paul Hourihan for the work they recently did at Yale University. This was the first time either one of them had worked on a plate and frame heat exchanger and they handled it as perfectly and professionally as anyone could have asked of them. This was a very meticulous and time-consuming project that required both to be at their best to make sure everything went well. I cannot thank them enough for stepping outside their comfort zone and handling the project as well as they did.

Jim Krochune: Shoutout to Carly Ackerley

Thanks to Carly, there were no hiccups with the VSHE trade show in VA, everything was taken care of. She followed up when I was at the site and made sure everything was ok, and that’s what we need going on the road. Carly is so on top of it.

Sean Keleher: Anthony Julianello at Stonyfield Farms

Anthony is doing a great job managing the ins and outs of Stonyfield and making sure the customer maintains a good relationship with APM. They ran into issues and Anthony really stepped up and helped.

Sid Khanna: Matt Hydock at Lehigh Valley

Matt went back to Lehigh Valley to survey 94 traps that were supposedly missed. The customer used their old Spirax Sarco survey from 10 years ago as a reference.  It turns out we did not miss any traps. We are going to assist them with a new area that they did not identify either in a confined space. It made APM look good and shows that we do provide quality service to an old-time customer.

I can better situate us to gain future work at this site due to this type of work.

Evan Pfenninger: Shoutout to Mike Hurton

Mike has been very helpful and really stepped up since Sandy left. He is always taking pride in what he does and makes sure everything is accurate and correct. He is learning the process and asking and answering questions. It is great working with him. Mike’s always available, and if he doesn’t answer he calls right back, great communication!

Tony Mann: Herrin, IL

Visiting Herrin Hospital with Scott Schofield and Stephen McManus was my first time watching techs work together on site and seeing how the process works. They showed empathy together. Several steam traps were difficult to remove and they shared ideas back and forth on what to do. Phenomenal cooperation made, great kudos to them!

Sean Keleher: Shoutout to Kerri Schepis

Kerri communicates extremely well and is a good teammate. She takes stuff off my plate without complaint. I cannot say enough about how great she is!

Eric Hayston: Paul Hourihan at Boston College

Paul worked at Boston College on an ongoing compressed air issue on 4th floor. They were having an issue with compressors in the hockey arena. Paul was there for an hour and found 2 cut lines. He resolved the issue that they couldn’t. Outstanding work by Paul as always! Always above and beyond.

Sean Keleher: John Slattery at Northeastern

John did good job about being thorough, making sure we had enough days on site and working with the customer. It made less work for myself and the customer is very happy with his work and performance.

Chip Goudreau & Jim Krochune: Huntington Hospital

At Huntington Hospital we did everything we could and did such a good job that the director of engineering is asking if there is anything else we can do. TRV, PRV, HEX cleanings, air handlers, chilled water piping, etc. We are all working together as a team that includes about 15 people. Your approach, effort and attitude pays off and helps the company appear as the top tier solution provider. They went from one of the worst energy-performing sites to the second-best in their portfolio. It is truly a team effort. They trust us and our people. Thank you to all who contributed!
