Sunday, 5/3/26, is a special work anniversary. It is Jack Gardner’s 5-year work anniversary!
Here is what Jack had to say about the past 5 years at APM:
Five years has blasted by and at the same time feels like so long ago. Michelle infamously trusted me to take over the schedule entirely while she went on vacation during my second week here, but I guess it didn’t go too badly because I’ve stuck around for quite a while since then.
It’s been a lot of ups and downs, both in terms of the New Projects list as well as my stress level, and there’ve been some rather interesting customer situations, from White Plains and Lynn, to that hospital group I don’t need to name, but the challenge of figuring out the schedule and keeping things moving keeps bringing me back.
It’s been great to see the growth and process changes that have allowed APM to mature as a company since 2021, and I’m excited to see what the future holds!
And here is what Director of Operations, Katie Clapham, had to say about Jack:
I‘ve had the opportunity to work with Jack in various capacities over the years, and one thing is clear: he brings a natural steadiness to the team that sets the tone for everyone around him. Jack has been instrumental in keeping our field team’s schedules full, while simultaneously bringing a level of genuine care to the customer service experience.
Jack takes clear communication seriously, particularly in written form, which it turns out runs in the family! He cares about making sure a message lands and it’s a quiet but real contribution to the experience of the recipient. Some of my favorite days working with Jack are the ones in which he finds the right moment to sprinkle a little humor into the workplace and remind us all to be a little less serious. It sounds silly, but awareness of how and when to do that is a skill and one I deeply appreciate!We are lucky to have Jack on the team and I look forward to what’s next. Here’s to the next five!
