Today is a special work anniversary. It is Carsyn Shuey’s 1-year work anniversary!
Here is what Carsyn had to say about her first year at APM:
I know it’s something everyone says, but it truly is hard to believe that a year has already passed since I joined APM.
Over the past 12 months, I’ve experienced significant personal and professional growth. Even after completing a full lifecycle of projects (from heating to repair season), I continue to learn something new every day. What’s been especially meaningful to me is the strong sense of support I’ve found here—even in a primarily remote environment.
Building relationships while working (mostly) online can be challenging, but I’m incredibly proud of the effort my colleagues and I have put into getting to know one another. It speaks volumes about the culture here: people are not only dedicated to their work, but also genuinely care about their teammates. The empathy and understanding shown to me throughout the past year have made my time at APM especially rewarding.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this first year such a positive experience. I’m excited for what year two will bring!

It has truly been a joy working with Carsyn over the past year. She’s always enthusiastic about learning and eager to give her best. In this short time, she’s gained a solid understanding of how our business works and has used that knowledge to help us spot project issues that might have otherwise gone unnoticed. Her creative touch has also brought new energy to our marketing efforts, giving our collateral a fresh look and making a great impression on potential customers.
Carsyn often wonders if she could be contributing even more, but it’s that very mindset that motivates her to aim for greater impact.
