A Month in Review

Here are some of the highlights from October 2022 as told by the Sales team . . .

Jonathan Eno: University Hospitals – Main Campus

Anthony Julianello and Hunter Graves made a great impression
on one of my customers last week. After the steam trap repairs were completed
at University Hospitals -Main Campus, I visited the site to speak with building
personnel.

Thomas, the Facilities Manager, gave a very positive, genuine review.

He said that during the whole visit they were professional,
helpful, and thorough. “We do not get this very often,” he continued, “
they
even complimented us
for how organized and helpful we were to them in completing the project on time.

As a newer part of the team, feedback on our technicians
like this give me confidence in APM’s ability to fulfill projects and build solid
relationships with our customers.

Way to go Anthony and Hunter!

Jim Krochune: New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai

Rob Hart had a great win at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. See his job note below . . .

Additional comments – Surveyed radiators in their South building today. Around mid day facility received a call about an external Steam leak coming from the cap of a thermostatic trap on the 2nd floor that revealed itself upon opening up the zone valves for the heating system. They could not isolate the trap without shutting the heat down due to an improperly oriented TRV on the inlet side of the radiator. They called me down from the floor I was surveying so they could get information on Parts to order. I told them I have an equivalent trap on the truck I could install right away so they could restore heat to the building. The customer was extremely pleased and took up my offer. The Completed repair was documented as trap number 331088 and should be billed for appropriately. I also informed the customer of the proper orientation of TRVs so as to avoid melting the thermostat off. This did slow progress down surveying however and I still have the 3rd and 2nd floor radiators as well as 2 mechanical areas left to do. I told the customer we will have to charge for a 6th day to survey the rest of the building and he was more than willing to adjust the quote as needed.

Excellent customer service Rob!

Eric Hayston: Emergency Troubleshoots

We had an unusual day last Wed. Oct. 19th, we had 4 customers call with emergency troubleshoots. I would like to recognize Eric Chagnon and Michelle Rice for being able to quickly asses the situations and get the correct people assigned to those sites in order of priority. Also to the techs Paul, Hunter, and Anthony J that were able to transition so quickly to those situations and handle them to the best of our abilities. Situations like these are what stick in our customers heads. When they needed us we were there and we were able to help resolve the issues.

Well done Eric, Michelle, Paul, Hunter, and Anthony!

David Smith: Memorial Hospital of Carbondale STS

We are running a new Steam Trap Survey at SIH Memorial Hospital of Carbondale that starts 11/1 and runs for four days!

Congrats on the new survey David!

Tony Mann: Concordia College Minnesota

Added a new $15,000 Steam Trap Survey at Concordia College Minnesota in Moorhead, MN.

Thank you to everyone at APM that supported me. I love this job and can’t wait to continue!

Way to go Tony!

October 10th Field Training Day

On Columbus Day, the majority of the field came into the office for an extensive and educational training day on Heat Exchangers. This was the first onsite field training day APM has had in a few years. Jonathan Davis, Eric Honan, Eric Chagnon, and Colin Peter did a fantastic job running the different stations in the training room and shop and everyone learned a lot. Here are some pictures from the big day:
