Hello,
Sunday, 11/26/23 is a special work anniversary. It is Precilla Bautistalla’s 5-year work anniversary!
Here is what Precilla had to say about the past 5 years at APM:
A brief description of your experience working at APM:
So much has happened in the past 5 years contributing to my personal and professional development. I started working here as an admin assistant, mostly handling data entry clueless about steam systems, traps, jackets, etc. and I got really curious and wanted to learn more… So then, I shifted to the Business Operations team in which I am sincerely thankful for allowing me to take on new challenges and responsibilities. True enough, I have grown and I learned a lot! A special shoutout to our incredible BizOps manager, James— for his unwavering support, patience, and kindness in teaching me the basic and technical stuff. And for the rest of the BizOps team, and to everyone that I have worked with who are equally nice and kind, thank you for being part of my 5year journey here!
A memorable experience: My most memorable experience was in November 2018. As a new mom, the struggle of leaving my baby at home for work every day was real. That’s when I made the decision to explore home-based job opportunities, praying so hard to land one. After countless job applications and a few interviews, finally, someone gave me that chance I had been hoping and praying for. That’s no other than our CEO! Ricardo, thank you for that day until today. You’re not just a fantastic person but a leader with a heart; your leadership style has created a positive and empowering work environment, making each workday a genuine pleasure.
Accomplishments you are really proud of:
One of the highlights of my journey here is being able to contribute to creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). These protocols haven’t just streamlined our processes but it’s created to boost our day-to-day efficiency. Proudly, I’ve crafted 12 SOPs so far, with probably more in line —though, a few might need a touch-up due to recent system and tools updates.
In addition, being involved in training the new hires in the BizOps team (from Kit to Vanessa and now partly helping Rhea) has been a rewarding experience. It’s fulfilling to contribute and to witness someone’s growth in the team. Sharing knowledge and helping new hires integrate seamlessly into our work environment I think had a good impact on strengthening our team dynamics.
Here is what Business Operations Manager, James Aguiar, had to say about Precilla’s time at APM:
I can’t think of a better person to share a “work birthday” with 😝. Anyone who’s interacted with Precilla over the years knows that she is an amazing communicator and exceeds whatever expectations were given to her. For those that don’t know, Precilla has returned to her studies and is in Ottawa, balancing a strenuous full time student workload, work tasks, and the personal impact of such a difficult move across the world away from family. Despite all this, she continues to strive for excellency in all that she does. Precilla is an example to all of what someone can accomplish when they set themselves up on a journey of self-improvement and sacrifice for their family, it is incredibly inspiring what you are doing! I also look forward to finally meeting her in-person, whichever country that might be in first haha. I can say on behalf of myself, the biz ops team and everyone at APM, thank you!
Thank you, Precilla, for your continuous hard work and dedication through your time at APM.
