Today is a special work anniversary. It is Eric Hayston’s 10-year work anniversary!
Here is what Eric had to say about his time at APM:
I can’t believe it’s already been 10 years. Looking back, I can honestly say that my time with APM has been the most enjoyable and rewarding experience of my career. It’s been a true honor to work alongside such an amazing team and to build lasting relationships with so many of our customers.
Every project we take on has meaning, and I believe each one has had a positive impact on the clients that we serve. What’s even more exciting is how far we’ve come—transforming from a small, regional company into one that now handles projects across the country and even internationally. That growth makes me genuinely excited about what the next 10 years will bring.
And here is what Ricardo had to say about Eric:
Eric joined APM a year before I did, and from my vantage point our careers have grown side by side ever since. Every year, he warns me that he’s “worried some customers might skip a year or two” or that he’s not “getting a warm and fuzzy” about some longstanding accounts, yet by the end of the fiscal year he is back among the top salespeople, having grown his book of business and pushed our revenue higher than the year before. That yearly ritual underscores Eric’s blend of humility and quiet competitiveness.
Behind the numbers lies the real impact. Eric’s customers trust him because he is relentless in finding creative solutions to get projects done, often by persuading utilities to provide generous incentives, and as an organization, we rely on Eric year after year to deliver a meaningful portion of the company’s revenue. Through market swings and even some challenging personal chapters, his resilience has not wavered; he continues to show up, reminding customers of APM’s value to their operations, and finding creative ways to grow. Ten years in, Eric is still pushing himself to be better every day, and I am grateful to have him on the team.
