A Month in Review

Here are some of the highlights from July 2023 as told by the Sales Team . . .

Eric Hayston: Rod Perez at LaSalle Academy:

Shoutout to Rod at LaSalle Academy! He solved a situation where the customer put an access panel in the wrong spot. Rod explained to the customer why a full trap wouldn’t work and why a repair kit was the best solution. He resolved issue in professional manner.

Sean Keleher: Anthony Julianello at Harvard University – Medical School

A customer was questioning something we did on site and everyone was in a meeting at this time. Anthony put in a very detailed job note about who brought him to what mechanical room and this allowed me to not have to hound James and Eric Honan for answers. I was able to bypass them and give the customer the information. The fact that Anthony took the time to write these details and anticipated an issue saved me a lot of time and headaches.

Evan Pfenninger: Steve McManus at The Estee Lauder Companies

Steve just completed survey at Estee Lauder last week. He talked to the customer and found out that they were in need of a heat loss survey and communicated this need to me. It was important for communication with Sam Grace.

Also, at Mattituck Laundry last month, Steve sent a picture to Jonathan Davis who agreed that we needed a troubleshoot. Steve also asked about the need for a compressed air survey. This is very helpful when we get that push from the field!

Jim Krochune: Ryan Jackson at New York Presbyterian

Ryan Jackson spent until 9 PM on a warranty job, and it wasn’t even the trap we replaced. We ended up getting additional work on other traps that failed.

Jonathan Eno: Lubrizol

Lubrizol continuing to be a success!

I would like to thank Paul Hourihan, Kevin McLaughlin, Michelle, Rice, Jack Gardner and Eric Honan.

After completing the steam trap survey pilot at Lubrizol in Avon Lake, OH, the facilities personnel requested a detailed, specific, phased install schedule based on plant shutdowns.

The team I mentioned above did a fantastic job at staying on top of all the details for getting in and out of this chemical plant. This included scheduling use of intrinsically safe tools, onboarding for both techs, and being aware of strict, site-specific protocols. Paul and Kevin ‘knocked it out of the park’ on the first phase of this installation project.

When I asked the impression of how the project was moving, the Maintenance Team Leader who I have been working with said “Nothing but compliments…Both Kevin and Paul were very knowledgeable.”

I know our customer is confident that they found a dependable partner to assist with their steam system maintenance.

Thanks everyone!

Evan Pfenninger: Shoutout to Jose Hernandez and Chris Klashka

Ever since Jose and Chris got into parts it seems a lot more organized! They are always great at getting back to me as well.

All: Field Team Job Notes

The field has been providing more and more detailed job notes, and the Sales team is really appreciative of this! It is so important for us to be able to see how the job is going. As we move into survey season, we would love to continue with great job notes, which helps the company across the board. We read every single job note you submit. Thank you!

Field Training Day!

On Wednesday, July 12th, the field team gathered in Woburn to attend a training day at the office. The first half of the day was an in-depth water hammer seminar presented by Wayne Kirsner.

After lunch, we unveiled our Mike Walsh Memorial where we dedicated the training Room to our long time friend and coworker, Mike Walsh. Watch the video below!

We then went over some administrative reminders and then had an open discussion with the field. It was a great day!
