Today is a special work anniversary. It is Ted Quanstrom’s 1-year work anniversary!
Here is what Ted had to say about his first year at APM:
I’ve enjoyed getting to know most everyone here at APM at least to some degree. One of the cool things about IT is that I get to talk to everybody. I’ve been able to help you all streamline a few things over the past many months, but we have a lot of work left to do! I’m looking forward to continuing to streamline and hopefully simplify all things IT in the coming year.
My friend Jon Davis told me in passing for a few years that you all had wifi and computer issues and we joked about me coming to work here so I could try to “fix it.” I never thought I actually would, but life is weird, and here I am. Thanks for having me and please let me know what I can do to help reduce pain points in your workflow(s).
I recently had the chance to spend a day in the field following Steve McManus around during a STS at a hospital. It was really fun for me, and gave me a new appreciation for the work that happens in the field for our customers.
Here is what CEO, Ricardo Aguirre had to say about Ted’s time at APM:
Ted’s first year at APM has been incredibly impactful. He singlehandedly implemented multi-factor authentication and single-sign-on, enhanced our ability to service laptops and mobile phones remotely, fixed wi-fi issues in the office, and much more. More recently, he has been driving changes in our data collection pipeline so one day, we’ll be able to create reports much faster. He handled the numerous IT issues left behind by our previous IT provider, to the point that APM now has IT capabilities that rival much larger companies. On top of that technical expertise, Ted is truly a pleasure to work with and always approaches every challenge with kindness and patience. I’m very grateful to have him on the team.
Thank you, Ted, for your continuous hard work and dedication through your time at APM.
