A Month in Review

Here are some of the highlights from May 2021 as told by the Sales Team . . .

Sean Keleher: UMASS Lowell

Anthony is doing a great job at UMASS Lowell. He has a lot of challenges with the contacts being tough to get in touch with and doing extra work to help them put locations to each trap, but he is dealing with it very well and the customer is very happy with his work.

Keep up the great work Anthony!

Brett Houlihan: Chicago Progress

City of Chicago:

We finally wrapped up quoting the City of Chicago install project. This was a challenging feat that involved multiple different parties working hard on a new process that we have not yet tried at APM. In the early days of this project Ricardo gave us the green light to move forward with a different business model to compete along side the other contractors in the People’s Gas Trade Ally program. This involves not charging the customer anything for the survey so as long as they choose APM to perform the repairs after the report is completed. People’s Gas pays a small amount for the survey and a moderate amount for the repair work so it is crucial to rearrange the pricing model to fit this utility incentive program. Chip and I spent hours on working with a number of different options to make up for the lost revenue on the survey side by carrying over the cost to the back end of the project. James also worked alongside us in creating a slightly different report and quotes to include working with a union-subcontractor and having an APM supervisor onsite making sure all goes to plan.

The Result:

A completed quote presented to the customer and a promise for a forthcoming purchase order by the second week of June. This will be a great first install project in the territory that will model how we proceed with pricing other projects in the coming months.

Nice job to everyone involved in the progress in Chicago!

Jim Krochune: Kudos to James!

I wanted to recognize James for all the work he has recently put in on the Heat Loss Analysis and Utility submission information.  We won St. John’s jacket job ($350K) below and will be getting the LIJ Medical Center jacket project ($290K). James is a crucial step in getting the information from Thermaxx onto APM letterhead to be submitted to the utility and, ultimately, the customer.

Awesome work James!
